Rowing – 4/1

In my goal to improve my 2km time, I have wanted to spend some time rowing at a pace a fair bit faster than my target 2k pace but AFTER rowing for a few minutes at a steady pace. The idea is to row further than the 2k so the 2k feels like a breeze when I get back to it.

Here’s the workout:

5 min steady row then:

3 rounds

3 minutes steady (6-8 secs slower than 2km average)

1 minute fast (5 secs faster than 2km average)

1 minute rest

My paces are below:

Pace for 3 mins: 1:52

Pace for 1 minute: 1:38
