2K Row Time trial

The 2km row is known as one of the more gruelling fitness tests you can do. The effort it takes to maintain a high power output for long periods of time makes this test quite a daunting one to begin.

I had this test in mind for a while and after a bit of research, found a sub 7 time on the tower was very respectable and meant you had a good blend of strength and endurance. Men’s health article

My results are in the photos below.

My pacing strategy consisted of something like the following:

First 200-300m – 1:37-1:38

Next 1100-1200m – steady pace at about 1:42-1:45

Last 200- 1:39-1:40 pace

Goal is to hold a 1:40 pace all throughout!
